New stuff, corrections and future

- March 2008
- The data output for each of the rolling stock types has been removed. Cross referenced data for each class is now available off of each vehicle page. The data page reference remains in case of a forum or third party link.
- Hobby wind down. For the forseeable future, research and data collection has finished. Material has been passed on or destroyed. The data presented on the website was a method of passing on information I had learned from 1972 to 1998. Primary goals were achieved. The main focus now is imaging.
- There is no immediate plans for attending exhibitions. Perhaps this may occur in retirement.
- There are only about twenty more pages to modify to present a uniform standard page.
- November 2007
- I've decided to introduce a "Slideshow" section. The website space now allows for space for photos that I have on the "Fotopic" site. Eventually the "Fotopic" site will be removed". The "Slideshows" will be 75 to 100 images on a theme and can be viewed automatically or manually. There is the ability to save images as required. I'm still looking for a good script that allows captions.
- The script for the revolving images on the front page has been changed. The random feature has been removed. The script is simple and steps through 25 images before repeating. There are 157 images in total and a random start location is selected.
- Major change to accessing rolling stock data. The "Group | Code" option on the "Data" > "VR Rolling Stock" selection shows a page that has links by type or the old way of alphabetical access along the bottom.
- About 75% done for page mods (pages c001m to c444m). Pages goto c567m.
- Removing dead pages and files
- The old lists of photos have been moved into the FTS section with a redirect holding old links. I found a small percentage of photo access was from the "Collection" page. Viewers are better off searching using the GROUP and TOPIC fields to duplicate the older pages.
- Scanning progressing slowly. Films 1 to 769 completed. This is about 30% of black and whites done.
