The VHDX hoppers were recoded from VHDY wagons between 1987 and 1988. The number group was 201 to 210.
In 1989/1990 VHDX's 201, 202 and 208 were converted for quarry traffic: 1" to 2" screenings. The top sections were removed, new discharge doors fitted and the vehicles reclassed to VHQF.
By 2002/2003, the remaining wagons had also been modified by the removal of the roofs but recoded as VHJX gypsum traffic wagons.Photos for 'VHDX '
