The tank wagons in block 'oil' train traffic were recoded from VTQA / VTQY tank wagons between 1984 and 1987.
The code was used to identify those tank wagons in block oil train service.
The symbol 'Z' indicated the same speed as applicable for "X" and 'Y' marked vehicles. In general the tank wagons were allowed a higher speed when empty.
