There were nine QF class wagons. Three were converted from _Q__ in 1963 and six converted from Q in 1964.
Whether the class originated because of special traffic or as a general trend for fast goods wagons is not known.
The QF class was reclassified to VFBY in the 1979 recoding. The number group was 1 - 9.
VFBY wagons were reclassified to VFBF in the late 1980's.
