Two Joint stock guards vans were provided for the 'Overland' service between Melbourne and Adelaide. The vans were coded CO and were numbered 1, 2.
The vans were built in 1970 and were still in use on the 'Overland' train until the early 1990's.
In 1994, the control of the vans was passed to Australian National. The vans had been sold by 1996.
