VZBF 1, 2 and 3 were converted from VBAX underframes in 1990.
VZBF 1 is ex VBAX 46, VZBF 3 is ex VBAX 13. Conversion data for VZBF 2 is not known.
The wagons feature brake block trays at each end separated by slope sheets that peak in the centre of the wagon.
