VFMX - Panelboard Transport

In the 1979 recoding VFMX 101 - 106 were reclassified from FPX_ 101 - 106. They were relettered 1979/1980. Traffic was for panelboard (pineboard) sheet out of Mt Gambier, SA via Portland.

In 1980, seven more wagons were converted for this traffic. They were converted from the SFX_ / VFLX type. The new wagons were numbered 107 - 114.

Most of the class were converted to VQLX container wagons in the late 1980's.
