
This car entered service 17/11/1937. It was originally listed as 'Dining Car' and was placed in the group of cars built specially for the 'Spirit Of Progress' express train.
In 1963 the car was renamed 'Murray'.
The first Murray had been built in the 1900's as a Parlour Car and had been scrapped in the late 1950's.
From March 1985, the car was listed as _RS_ 236.
